Six stations will be sampled across King County waters of Puget Sound for English sole and rockfish. Ninety English sole and 5 rockfish will be targeted per station with additional fish being collected at Myrtle Edwards for purposes of West Point response sampling. Biomarkers (vitellogenin and PAH metabolites) will be analyzed for the first time from 15 individual English sole at Myrtle Edwards and Alki stations. Composites of 15 English sole per sample will be created of muscle tissue for analysis of metals, mercury, PBDEs, PCBs, and PFAS chemicals. Whole body rockfish will also be analyzed for these chemicals. Biomarkers will not be analyzed in rockfish.
