Freshwater Swimming Beach Bacteria and
Algal Toxin Levels, and Water Temperature

The following map depicts the locations of current freshwater swimming beach sampling stations in King County. For marine beach data in King County visit the Washington State Dept. of Ecology's BEACH monitoring page.

To view the current bacteria, algal toxin, and temperature data, either click on the map or select from the list of beaches. Units of bacteria data are cfu/100mL. Algal toxin units are µg/L. To view a list of historical sites monitored, visit the Archived Data link. Current beach closures, if any, are listed right hand column of this page and will appear as red diamonds on the map. A summary of historical closures can be found on the Historical Closures link.
